The pre-reno open house was a success! It was so fun to meet many of the great neighbors in the area and explain my vision for the Oliver house! We had a nice turn out for family and friends as well, despite the freezing temps in November. What happened to our amazing fall in Minnesota that we all wait for? Anyway, everyone had a ton of great suggestions that hadn’t crossed my mind like – a MUDROOM, genius! We forget about how important an area for wet boots and coats is until the Minnesota winters hit. Um… like right about now! Brr…
Now, we just need to get in there and start demo to truly understand what we are working with!
My broker (and friend) Kerry McCabe helped set up a wine bar, so guest could browse with a nice glass of wine! It’s funny though every room in the house has a light fixture, except for the living room, Oops! We chatted with guest by candle light instead.
